We offer gardening pods that are rented out on a seasonal basis. These Pods are independent portable modern gardening beds. They are HOA friendly in most places (check with your local) and are great for apartments or rentals. We also offer traditional in ground gardens of various sizes and designs. Deliveries to your location will begin in mid MAY and early June. Pick up will begin mid October to early November. These dates are based on average temperature and frost dates in our region. Delivery available in central and west central Indiana.

Any deliveries at excessive distance may not be available or will come with a delivery fee based on distance. Excessive is defined further than 30 miles from main highway route of I-74 from Indianapolis to the Illinois state border. Most of Indianapolis is covered. Also up to 20 miles east Along State Road 63 south from I-74 to Terre Haute. Common cities along path, Indianapolis, Brownsburg, Crawfordsville, Clinton, Rockville, Terre Haute and several small towns and locations. HEALTH Maybe? Gardening can be super rewarding but also hard, time-consuming, sometimes painful as we age and more of a hassle than enjoyment. We try to bring that enjoyment back to gardening experience with the convenience of minimal work on your part. BY MINIMAL, we mean it as your only job is to pick the vegetables. (Must have a working outdoor water connection.) We do all the work of planting, set up, delivering, clean up and pick up, soil rotation, fresh compost yearly and all the other hardcore gardening stuff no one ever has time for. Plus, when winter comes there is nothing to store away or trip over!

Pods are basically portable raised gardening beds that are rented out seasonally. They come pre-planted with a standard set of vegetables. These are designed to be automatically watering and have already been set up with cages, runner lines, automatic timers, and an internal and/or external watering system. They contain a special mix of soils to keep your vegetables fed and growing strong all season.

How much do you love your tomatoes? Did you know that 1 tomato a day, at current average price of $1.75 or more, for the 3 to 4 summer months is $210 plus tax. Just in tomatoes! OUR AVERAGE POD STARTS AT 250! Not to mention what quality they are. Your health is important to you as well as us here at DeckofGardens. We keep our prices as low as possible in order to provide an economical alternative for healthy fresh food. However, we do source out high quality materials in order to protect the integrity of the soil and plants to provide you the safest and best possible produce.

For large projects or unique custom work, quotes are available. Payment will be due at delivery or the week before delivery. Please, explore our site for more information.

Substitutions generally will be with other plants listed in the pod and there may be a small fee. There is a section describing our customization options further down on the site. ALL CUSTOM ORDERS NEED TO BE PRE-ORDERED BEFORE APRIL 25TH. otherwise subject to limited availability.

The pods are 2 feet wide, 4 feet long, and about a foot deep. The plants will reach up to 4 to 6 feet tall potentially. Weight will range from 500 lbs to 1000 lbs when wet and fully loaded with vegetables. Not safe for balconies, must be placed on solid built structure or the ground for safety reasons. The pod(s) will need to be placed in the sunniest convenient location for best growth.
